Evening all

Quite by chance I happened upon the livestreaming of the Council meeting this afternoon. The very last motion debated was Rob Vinsen’s who argued strongly for a limitation of 5% on the increased  personel costs for 19/20 against the 6.72% budgeted . It was based on the RPA’s submission which was copied to you on 2/5

Vigorous debate ensued and the motion was lost. The Mayor spoke  vehemently against and was supported by: Duncan, Craig, Joblin, Cleveland, Chandulal-Mackay, Reid, Taylor and – wait for it – Anderson!!

In support were Vinsen, Bennett, Young, and Baker-Hogan.
